ISO 27001 certification
ISO 27001 is the international standard for information systems security and is applicable to all types of organizations. It aims to demonstrate the protection of functions and data against loss, theft, alteration, intrusion, or IT failure, by implementing technical and organizational processes and measures. As security is a key issue in our strategic and business development plan, fabriq is committed to guaranteeing a safe and reliable product, developed by a secure organization. In response to the challenges of the industrial sector and the demands of our customers, we set up a dedicated cybersecurity and compliance team in 2022.
Steps to ISO 27001 certification
- Training for a specialized team. A team led by our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), in close coordination with the Head of Technology and the DPO.
- Understanding and raising awareness of cybersecurity issues. Awareness-raising and training programs are organized on a regular basis for our employees.
- Documentation: we have created the fundamental documents that structure our ongoing security in accordance with the ISO 27001 standard.
- Internal audit and continuous improvement. We ensure that controls are implemented and compliant, with regular management reviews.
- External audit and certification: we obtained ISO 27001 certification at the end of 2023, and now maintain and continuously improve our ISMS.
